CHAMPIONSHIP ROUNDS:

  • All drivers must race separate vehicles – no other driver may borrow a car that has already been used in that event (except in designated meetings such as endurance racing).
  • The race controller or the marshal on the first bend are responsible for calling for a restart in the event of 3 or more cars (or half the field) de-slotting on the first lap.
  • Blue Flag Rule. Just as in “real” racing, a driver being lapped, is obliged to let the faster driver through without hindrance.
  • If a car breaks down during a race/heat, it may NOT be replaced by another car. Attempts by the driver or his allocated mechanic, if possible, can be made to fix the vehicle so that it can continue in that race.

SCRUTINEERING:

Scrutineering will take place on a weekly basis. The first & second placed cars at the evening AND 2 cars randomly picked from ALL the entries and examined for legality. Two committee members will examine the cars and the owners will also be present. Any car not found to be compliant will result in the driver not scoring any points in that weeks’ round.
