CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
Round 3 - Burnt Oak
8th November 2008

Round 3 of The Champions League 08/09 took place at Burnt Oak Slot Car Club. A very large number of drivers attended this meeting (twenty-seven), which resulted in a full days practice and racing - and VERY close racing.

Home advantage, once again, was at a premium and Burnt Oak have re-taken the lead in the team championship.

The cars supplied was the Ninco Honda NSX, fitted with Slot-It running gear, all of which ran well throughout the meeting.

The winning driver of the day was Trevor Fox driving for Burnt Oak. The "fun" finals were won by Paul Hearne, racing for Finchley.

Round 4 will be held at Oxford Scalextric Club on the 11th January 2009, where the cars to be used will be the new FLY Riley. Any member of Finchley, Eastcote, MHSC, Oxford or West London is more than welcome to attend club nights prior to the event to gain extra practice.
